Garrett Morris

It is a lifelong passion of mine to work with people. I believe in the importance of human connection and that positive relationships are key to healthy development. It is my goal to help each person overcome roadblocks and challenges so that they can feel and be successful. I believe in a holistic approach to human growth and development, and that a person is heavily impacted by their environment and the whole of their experiences. It is those experiences that make each one of us different, and those experiences, for better or for worse, help shape the person that we become. 

The whole of my experiences has provided me a deep understanding of the challenges and tough choices that families and parents have to make. I understand the complex emotions that come from not only the parent-child dynamic but the parent-parent dynamic as well. I am well versed in the multitude of challenges that adolescence and young adulthood brings, and am passionate about working with young people who are struggling to help uncover and overcome any social, educational, or health concerns.

Area of Focus: Adolescents and adults dealing with issues related to family dynamics, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, social and academic struggles, infidelity, divorce, grief, parenting, women’s issues, and trauma.

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Social Work with a Clinical Concentration
